DASYLab is full set of modules inclusive the complete signal analysis tools and sequence generator. After the acquisition of the data, the measurement values are filtered and scaled. The measurement values can then be presented in tables and charts with help from the Layouter. System operating states can be saved to keyboard shortcuts.
DASYLab application is a reliable and consistent system to measure the incredibly small output of the jump muscle of the fruitfly, Drosophila. The fly is suspended over a flexible beam which carries an optic fiber. Light is projected along the beam and onto a quadrant photodiode. When the fly is stimulated electrically, it jumps and kicks the beam.
